Next to Normal at the Phoenix Theatre

Jan 08

Next to Normal is playing at the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis from Wednesday, January 30 until Sunday, February 24. It’s supposed to be an outstanding musical about a family living with bipolar disorder. Here’s a description from Phoenix Theatre’s website:

This ground-breaking and innovative musical touches on themes not usually found in the genre. Diana Goodman has been struggling with her bipolar disorder, and almost twenty years later, she and her family are still coping. Winner of three Tony Awards and becoming only the eighth musical to win the Pulitzer Prize, Next to Normal is a potent look at grief, loss, and, ultimately, healing.

Ticket’s are $23 each for general admission plus $2 each handling fee (for the opening week and weekend). For all performances after the opening week and weekend, prices are $33 for adults (older than 21 years) and $23 for individuals 21 years and younger.
